turning off the traction control

Default turning off the traction control
what a pain in the *** would not go up a hill at work with snow.Has any body able to turn off traction control with a switch.

2003 S80-T6

Does your car not have the STC/DSTC button on the center console - which is the switch to turn off the traction control...?

yes I do have that button and it does not turn nothing off and Winter mode does nothing

The manual sez that you have to hold down that DSTC button for at least a half-second.
