Default Tyres rubbing in inside of the wheel arches.

Hello every one this is my first post.
Pleasesomeone help me as this problem is driving me mad
I got a 2000 volvo s80 t6. About 6 mounths agoa friendreplaced the top shock mounting, shocks, and theanti roll bar end linkson the both sides at the front of the car. This all went well and sorted out a couple of rattlingsounds. The only problem is now when I turn full lock both ways the tyres rub the inside of the wheel arch next to the spring.
This noise was not there before the tyres are the same the car drives perfect andI have taken all parts of the carthat my friend fitted and hada garage refite.
The problems still there any ides on how to sort it would be helpfull.
Cheers

There is one thing you can try that would fix it and only take a few to do it.
On the front of the control arms there is the steering stops that screw to the control arm.
Take that off and put a couple of washers behind it to move the stop out a little. That should stop the rubbing.

Don't forget it will make turning radius even worst... Did it to my car too since the noise driving me nuts living in condo and lowest floor in parking lots.. Turning lock to lock every corner going up or down ramps.. Either a bit better turning radius or noise... it's up to how u want to live with

Thanks guys.
I have taken the steering stops off and am going to get new once as mine are very badly warn. Thanks for the advise I have never even noticed them. doh
A local garage has also done work on the car they changed the wishbones on both sides.
I dont think I have enphasised how bad this rubbing is its to the point on the passenger side its shredding the plasticon the inside of the wheel arch.
Thanks again guys you are giving me some hope as I got none in my local volvo dealer who just seems to want £300+ just to look at the car
