Timing belt, tensioner and water pump all done. Not as hard as a lot of the info online makes it sound. I'm only probably a 5/10 DIY guy and... That was no problem. I think just about anyone could do it.

Anyone know if there is a trick to getting the pin out of the tensioner once its replaced? I am having a hell of a time with it. Figured it would just pop right out but it won't.

I pulled it out about 3/4 of an inch, which I figure is probably at least 75% of the way, but now it is stuck like hell. Did I pull it out too slowly and end up bending the end when the piston released? Eek...

Just wet? pcv stuck ?
Let sit or remove the distributor cap and dry using air or wd40 and check pcv system for blockage from hose or valve stuck
