I lost my rear bumper with a blowout beneath the Shroud and styrofoam this piece of metal is just hanging there. Anyone know what it is? 05s80


This is what was hanging behind rear bumper shroud and styrofoam. Anyone know what this is? I just don’t have a clue 05s80

 

It's a 9441423 antenna - don't know what it's for

 

I think it's for AM radio. After doing the copper sheet fix in the C pillar on mine way back in the late 200x's it was better but still not perfect. Really bothered me that Volvo couldn't master 80+ year old radio technology. Eventually I saw a reference to an antenna under the bumper. That looks kind of "antenna-y".
