Hi there,

I tried to search volvo forums for online part dealers but those that I found here are mostly moded parts - what I am looking for is just regular, either after-market (I am not sure if there's such a thing for Volvo) OR used parts for my S80. What I am looking in particular is rear tail light assembly for 2000 S80T6. So far, i was able to find only new, and cost is about $145 US. I tried local scrapyards in Toronto, Canada, but no luck, dealer has it for $189 CDN.
I dont' care if the light is new or old, as long as it is in good condition and has ok price...

Yes, I tried E-Bay, they don't have it...

 

Wow suprising.
They usually have someone selling them.

Nice find, but notice that the 2004 rear tail lights were re-designed. They are not the same on the 2000. Note the reverse light.

 

Also I think the brake light on the 04's are LED.

 

Well, since I'm new here to the Volvo forum (I don't get my 02 S80 until next week), I haven't really noticed the nuances of the changes from model year to model year.

However, I noticed that as of this morning, there are some more tailights on ebay for some great prices. I'm sure Majki could find one there if he/she is patient.

On another topic, are the 02 S80 headlights HID?

 

I don't think they were avalible till late 03 and early 04.
