Hello my name is Anthony, I own a Volvo s80 T6 2000 with barely over 100k miles. Only drove it for a month or two.

Out of no where, about 12 miles away from my home; driving approx 25-30MPH. Felt a little bit of a jolt, went to continuing driving and RPM gauge skyrocketed. As I pushed the accelerator, only the RPM's went up. It would not accelerate.

Had to pull over, check fluids; fluids looked fine but bubbly like it was getting hot. Turned car back on, was able to pull backwards no problem. Was able to make it home, but had to turn the vehicle off and on 20+ times to make it home.

Other than that, Volvo has treated me well so far. I was able to pull two codes, but my reader is not Volvo specific. The two codes read as following:

PO756
Shift Solenoid B Performance/Stuck Off

PO705
Transmission Range Senor A Circuit (PRNDL) Input

If anyone could help me figure out where to even start to fix this, I'd really appreciate it. My son and I have done everything sane to try and remedy it but still having the issues.
