Default Wanting to replace old springs on my 2000.

Hi guys I have a 2000 model T6 s80 and recently my right shock absorber has started to make a noise. Even on the littlest bumps it makes a sound so I was thinking of replacing them. The thing is I want to lower the ride about 1.5 inches all the way around and want to know how I should go about doing it. Should I replace both the springs and absorbers? I have been trying to find a kit for the car but haven't landed one that will drop the ride. I did however find the lowering springs but will the original absorbers work with the smaller springs? If that's the case then I should be able to get the regular absorbers with smaller springs...right?

I've done many things to the car such as adding 18" black wheels, HID lights, and an in-dash screen. I just joined the forum today and will upload pics of it soon. Any help from you guys will be great!

I've found it near impossible to find lowering springs for s80's that will lower you 1.5" all around. In January I plan on putting these springs on my car: http://www.elevatecars.com/node/2275

I've talked to the guys at elevate back and fourth a few times, they claim that these springs will fit the OEM shocks and struts perfectly and even recommend that I use the stock shocks and struts instead of going after market with these springs.

Just something to keep in mind.
