Hi guys im new here so not too sure if this is the right place

I have a 2001 S80 and the fuel gauge intermitantly reads empty and the range meter just has three dashes in it.

When i mean intermitant you will be driving down the road and all of a sudden the gauge just drops to zero and the range reads nothing and then after a couple of seconds it pops back up again.

This seems to happy more when going around left hand bends and when the take is below 3/4 full

I am thinking it could be the fuel tank sender unit that is playing up
