Default What is Happening with front end?

When driving at very low speeds (5mph) and hit my brakes, it feels like there's a slight delay in my front right brake. It feels like something is loose. Upon looking and tugging, pulling, twisting there is no movement but a slight rotation of the wheel on it's axle.
Now at highway speeds, when hitting the brakes hard, there is now a shimming in the front right which slightly shakes the car as if the rotor are warpped.
Are these two issues associated with just one item that needs to be replaced?
Is it the caliper, rotor, axle, lower control arm?

You can test the lower ball joint easily with a pry bar, it looks to be that you tested the inner tie rod and outer???

If it has high miles the bushings in the lower control arm are most likely shot too, you can visually inspect those and see if it is torn apart.

I have replaced both inner and outer tie rods. Makes me wonder if I didn't tighten them enough! But they are good. I did notice a slight tear in the bushing on the lower arm farthest from the front of the car. I had the front ones replaced last year.
If I were to replace it, it is easier to just but a new lower control arm? How difficult is this job? Or just replace that one bushing and how?

Well funny you should say that, if your doing this yourself, it will be a lot cheaper because your really just paying for the bushing, which can't be too much. Sometimes in a shop, just replacing the control arm is cheaper for a customer because removing a control arm and pushing in the bushing is more because of labor, which your saving. Go ahead and check the lower ball joint and see if needs replacing and replace both bushings in the control arm and check the other side too. If you need motor mounts do those too and get an alignment, even if you did so with the tie rods. Its up to you. good luck.
