Default Where is A/C - cooling fan relay?

I've been searching high and low on both the car and internet forums to find exactly where the a/c - cooling fan relay is. I know my fan works because I supplied power directly to it, however, it does not come on when the a/c is on. I've found what the part looks like on a parts supplier website, but I haven't been able to see anything like that under the hood. All help appreciated.

Depends on the year of the car. The relay is in the engine compartment relay/fuse block. 1999 & 2000 it is in position #1, 2001+ it is position #6.

My information only covers up to 2004 so there may have been another change but it will be in that relay/fuse block.

Thank you for that info. I hate to sound like a dummy but where is position 1? Is it the top left small rectangular one? Its confusing because some slots read something like FMA1 or FTA1. In other words; more than one slot has a "1" after the letters. Thank for your help. Gary
