Default Missing Power Wire/Connector to Cooling Fan Relay

I am missing the power cable coming into the cooling fan relay on my 1998 S70 GLT. There are two wires (1 connector) going to the fan motor, two (yellow and yellow/white, 1 connector) coming from the engine temp sensor, and one empty connector for presumably the power wire coming from the (fusebox?). My first question is: where does this wire route? It's possible the wire is in there somewhere, I've looked but haven't found it yet. It doesn't seem to be in the main housing right next to the relay, which is where it is on my friend's 850 (but in this wiring diagram - | Repair Guides | Wiring Diagrams | Wiring Diagrams | AutoZone.com Figure 31, it looks like his wires slightly differently to a fuse link). My second question is: what type of connector plugs into the relay for the power wire and is it readily available? If I can't find the original wire or if the routing is not easily accessible, I intend to wire directly to the battery with an in-line fuse.
