Won’t start
So I’m driving down the 160 and all of a sudden my car stops the engine and won’t start up again. And the parking brake light is flashing and on the dash it’s saying brake failure park safely. I changed my brakes on the rear. I don’t know how to start my engine and my car has set for 2 weeks
Did you do a code scan/ reset to view and clear the fault codes? What year is your S80. Note on some cars with the electronic parking brake, there is a requires software reset.
The problem may not be related to the brake pads - could be something like a brake pedal position sensor or something in the ABS controller.
See if there's something useful in the diagnostics flow charts:

You should also do two things 1) check battery voltage to make sure there's a proper voltage level in the battery 2) do a complete fault code scan with an OBD2 reader capable of reading ABS codes.
