I have a volvo S90 i bought a while ago from another owner and it appears to be an 1997 S90, though on the CARS, cash for clunkers website, I can't find it. If it was a 1997 car then it should be a volvo 960, but that would get 19 mpg while a volvo s90 1998 would get 18 mpg. Is there some way to prove what year my car is, manufactured in march 1997 while it is bought in 1998?

 

I have a 1997 V90 and the title states 1997,but the window sticker from the dealer states that it is a 1997 1/2. The first owner purchased it new in January 1997

My 960 gets 21 MPG in the city. I was surprised that they skipped the 1997 model. Heck, my 960 is so nice, I wouldn't trade it for $6K.

Volvo decided to name the 960's, S90's about 1/2 through 1997.
