Default 2020 S90 Trunk Opening Question

GoodMorning,
Is there any way to open the trunk if the car is locked and battery is dead? AND Is there a trunk release inside of the car?
Thank you!
Jim

There is a safety release latch (it glows in the dark) on the trunk door's interior. There are battery jump points under the hood. So the easiest method would be to unlock the door using the key, its a very fun process. The car alarm will go off if it is able. Pop the hood to charge the battery and then proceed operation as normal.

To get to the trunk from the inside, the only way in is through the cup holder armrest in the back, which I think is even latched shut from the trunk on the newer cars. Rear seats are locked and can only fold forward from latch in the trunk as well.

I never looked to see if the trunk has a key hole like the older volvos, but it is worth checking. Look at the trunk handle(button), if there is a key hole it will be to just to the side of it.

Thank you Dingus1, I was afraid that would be the answer, but thank you very much for responding. There is no keyhole in or around the trunk button.
Thanks again!

Assuming you don't have the optional rear ventilated seats and deluxe console, then there is no convenient way.
