Default 204bhp or 184bhp?

Hello there, I recently aquired a 1997 S90 here in England, and would just like to know what engine it has. It is the 2922cc (3.0) CD model and has B6304S stamped/stickered on the cambelt cover. Problem is, the handbook says there are two types of B6304S for this year (204 & 184) but doesn't say how to distinguish between the two. I know the 184bhp version has more torque, and so acceleration times are basically the same, I was just curious to know what I have!!

One more question, in regards to automatic gearboxes - I've never had an automatic before, and just wondered if it's better to put the car into neutral when at long traffic lights or in heavy traffic conditions, or to just leave it in drive. Does moving it in and out of drive wear it less or more than leaving it to sit in drive, slipping away the whole time?

Many thanks,
Crispin

Leaving it in gear will not reduce the life of your transmission.
