messed up air mass meter on a S90?
I dont get very good gas milage, or atleast not near 20 mpg like most sites/people tell me i should get. I'm not sure if mass air flow sensors can get old and break, but if so is there any way to tell one is broken from just looking at it? Becuase i can take apart my whole air box system no problem just a few clips here and there, but if its that whole arm, im in trouble. thanks for help, this site has been so helpful with everything, i ask alot of questions and get alot of answers. thanks
Ya, but heres the thing. Its not the check engine light, its theservice light.I just recently had it serviced and the guys at the shop couldnt get it to go off. Which really stinks cause when i need something done i wont know it. theysaid"theres a short in your wire to your ecu" or some crap like that haha i didnt know what to say after that just took a discount and left. Any advice now that i know its not the MAF sensor, cause my car runs beautifully, (even though its slow) hahaha
Did you try to reset the SERVICE Light your self?
Remove the little rubber grommet in the speedo cluster with the key on press the button in with something that will fit in the hole.
Maybe a vaccum leak from the intake manifold.
