This is my first post on here, so go easy! I recently got diagnosed on my car that I need a new blower motor, and blower motor resistor. The mechanic told me that they couldn't find any of the parts from retailers, but I have found both of them online for around $300.00. My question is is that an average price, and additionally how difficult are these two pieces to install myself. One final questions is could someone point me in the directions of a tutorial to install it myself? Thank you all for any assistance you might be able to offer.

 

A good blower motor is not very expensive.

The module or resistor is quite pricey. Before buying the resistor, I'd be certain that it isn't just a bad blower motor.

This is what my blower motor resistor looks like; any suggestions on where I could find one for an S90? Can't find any salvage yards near me that have it and neither does fcpeuro.
