I just got a lightly used 2017 S90 mom with 18's, Have had many lux cars, E430,SL500, 535, JagXJL, S60, and a V70, and have never seen brake dust like this , any ideas or is it a case of " it is what it is " ceramics ? covers?

 

the forum seems to be very useful, thanks for all the responses. Anyhow my GPS whacked out and I took it in, I asked if they could check the brakes out not only because of the dust but also it keeps creeping forward while trying very hard to come to a smooth stop then it jerky stops. To my delight they came back and informed me that I will be receiving new pads and rotors (2017 with 17k miles) and to top it off the dealer that I didn't even buy from gave me a brand new XC60 to drive for a couple days while everything gets fixed, Volvo isn't perfect but the customer service is tops!
