Default Headlight question

Ok, I know this is a basic question. I've replaced the turn signal light and that makes sense but I don't understand the directions to replace the low beam bulb. Do I need to take the plastic cover off on the outside of the car? There are metal sliders that attach it do I need to move those over- and if so which way? Also, when I went to Auto Zone they recommended buying lightbulb grease. I smeared on the base already and when I read the directions in the manual it mentioned that any grease may damage the reflector- do I need to get a new ungreased bulb.

Thanks for your help.

Default RE: Headlight question

Clean the bulb off.
Look at the back of the light under the hood. There is a cover you need to remove to access the bulb to replace it.
