Hi,
I have a 960 but looks like a s90 with the same headlites etc as a S90 and the car only takes spare parts meant for a s90.
Well i have been having some problems with my fuel line recently and just managed to get it fixed by changing the fuel pump.

1. I have this very annoying sound whenever i step hard on the brakes or corner a bit too fast, the sound is of the underbody of the car grinding against the tires; i have checked all the bushings and discovered that they are all fine so what do i do?

2. i have a slight misfire as if my plugs failed or something when i try driving the car but it stops doing that once i acclelrate more then 2000 rpm. I have checked my plugs and the plug wires to no avail.

I would really appreciate an answer to the above questions.

2. Are the coils cracked?

 

Both the front and rear ends

 

Check all the bolts for the front suspension parts. Also the 4 bolts holding the engine cross member to the body.

i have checked the bolts of the crossmember and of my front suspension in short and it all seems ok.
pls what do i try next?

 

Have you inspected the control arm bushings really good?

 

i had a look and they seemed ok!
Am really at a loss!
but 1 thing i've noticed is that the back is considerabely lower than the front! does this affect in anyway the ride or suspension?

 

Rear shocks might be bad and causing one of the noises.
