S90 won't start
Today my dad's S90 started as normal and was driven 5 miles or so. After being parked for an hour it started again, ran for 30 seconds or so then cut out. It has since refused to start. It's the 180bhp version with a manual box, we live in the UK. Recovery guy did some tests on it. There is a spark. There is fuel to the injectors but they only pulse once or twice as the engine cranks as normal, fires then but then stops firing and just turns over on the starter. He also disconnected the battery to see if that reset the ECU just in case it had a problem but no change. All the fuses in the two fuse boxes under the bonnet appear to be fine. Possible suggestions we have had so far are possible low fuel pressure, defective airflow meter on the inlet, immobiliser fault (assuming standard Volvo install?) or ECU fault. Any suggestions for any other possibilities?
Thank you in advance.
