Default S90radiator

I am replacing the radiator on our 98 model. I have every everything loose or so I thought. The radiator seems to be hanging up on something on the lower passenger side. It will move but some thing is keeping it from coming on out. Any ideas?

Thanks, pete

I got the radiator changed. I have a leak at the bottom transmission oil cooler Line. It is not cross threaded. I turned it almost all the way in with my fingers. Jerk ably just needs tightened a wee bit more.

I did notice that the fan started as soon as I started the car. I don't know if it did this before. Just had not noticed.

Be sure to use two flare nut wrenches to tighten these transmission oil connections on the radiator.

re the fan - its possible when you refilled the coolant you created an air pocket around the thermostat so its not all the way full (ie not getting a true temp sensor reading). You should check the level after warming up the car. Also check the temp sensor connections - not sure about the s90s but there may be two different sensors - one for the computer and one for the fan... If there's a sensor into the radiator (the fan temp sensor is there on some cars), you may have a grounding problem with the new install.

I had the defroster on. I mentioned the problem to a mechanic friend of mine and the first thing he asked me is the defroster was on. when I told him yes he said that was probably the problem. Sure enough that was it.

Again, thanks for the input
