Temp reading on display is way off
Hello. Any help would be much appreciated.
The temp display in my 2019 V90 is completely wrong about 50% of the time. It will show minus 4 degrees when it clearly mid twenties outside.
Diagnostic testing stated: Ambient air temp sensor signal too low.
The alleged Volvo expert wasn’t entirely sure what the next steps would be. They suggested replacing the “door harness” as a start but couldn’t guarantee a fix for the £300 quote. It was just their first suggestion of what could be a large rabbit hole.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? Would anyone agree with the door harness suggestion?
Thanks.
