I'm test driving this car tom. Any advice on what to look for? PO said he doesn't know when timing belt was changed. I asked if there are any fluid leaking and he said no. Also no recent service performed to the car except for oil change. What would be a reasonable offer?

Prices are all over the place. When shopping for an S90 a couple of years ago, many were not worth $1000. However, we also saw a couple of really nice cars that were offered for up to $7k, but not in colors that my wife wanted. We probably over paid at $5k for a 98 from Sacramento, it had 50k original miles, new tires, new brakes, replacement radiator and an AC line. The interior had a lot of sun damage and several years before it had a respray from the clearcoat issues. Since it was literally identical to our 97 that died, I knew that the interior fix was easy by simply swapping seats and door panels. At 50k miles, nothing had been done that had not broken, so I did all the recommended belts (both), hoses, etc. and now we have a fairly nice car. Be aware that many parts for the S90/960 cars are out of production or getting expensive.
