The VoC app works perfektly on our Volvo V40 2013 but on my new V90CC 2021 model it works not, sometimes it suddently work and I can lock and set on the heater but most of the time I cannot do anything, the app has connection as it tretrives location info and knows that the car is unlocked and status of diesel but I cannot send anything to it, very anoying.

Anyone else recognice this problem?

 

Are you using an android phone? I have seen people have issues with the app on android with their new cars.

Also did you completely setup your car with the app? I had a problem where I did not and when I reinstalled the app, I was able to complete the process of going in the car and pressing the On Call button and completely syncing my car with the app.

 

Yes, it is an Android phone.
The app was completely setup with my car, I did actually disconnected it and re did the connection, I had to call VolcoCar support for them to send me new pin.
But still same problem. I get notification that the car is unlocked but cannot lock it, the location service works great but blinking with the lights does not work, if I cange car in the app to our V40 -13, everything works and that car is parked next to the V90.

 

Maybe it has to do with the android platform like I have seen other users have issues with.

I have a 2018 and had no problem and a coworker just got a 2021 xc60 and he doesn't have any trouble either. We both have iphones. I think it is something volvo is aware of.
