I have a 2000 v40 and the hazard switch will not activate the flashers. Turn signals work ok. hazard fuse was replaced. I am assuming that it the hazard switch itself or something else? Does anyone have instructions on how to replace this switch and where one could buy one?

Pull out the radio and reach up the center console to the hazard button and wiring, check to make sure it's all plugged in. I did a search online a few weeks ago due to me having the same kind of issue, check FCP it's the sponsor link on this page and they sell them for about $55. They aren't S40 specific, so contact the site and see if they are available for your model.
