2000 V40 Won't idle
Hello, I have a 2000 Volvo V40 1.9L 111,000 miles I've owned it for 5,000 miles.
The car will not idle it will run with the gas depressed but when you let off it dies
and it is running rough. It has been taking longer to start as it gets colder out. It all started
when my gas light was on for 5 miles then it died and would not idle, I had to give it gas to get
it home and it's sat since. I've checked the fuel filter and it looks like it was replaced recently
as it had a zip tie on it, I checked fuel pressure at the fuel rail and when priming I had 60PSI.
PARTS REPLACED SINCE IVE OWNED THE CAR:
Spark Plugs
Air filter
PARTS REPLACED SINCE PROBLEM OCCURRED:
Fuel Pressure regulator: No change in symptoms returned part, put original back on
Idle Air Control Valve: After testing my original it seemed seized, so I replaced it, the new ones valve works, car runs
a little better but still wont idle.
Mass AirFlow Sensor: No change in symptom returned part, put original back on
I have a Pending P0506 Code still even after I changed the Idle Air Control valve.
What should I test or look for next?
Should I replace the fuel filter, or is this a coil pack? I am completely lost and I've been without a car for 3 weeks now,
Any help would be amazing and I'd be eternally grateful.

I am having a similar issue with my 2001 Volvo V40. Some mornings (not all - seems to be more when it is cold and wet) upon first starting, I need to rev the gas for about 5 or 10 minutes until the idle catches. Otherwise the car will die as soon as I take my foot of the gas to put it into gear. Once I get it going, it is fine to start up for the rest of the day. I've clean the Idle air control valve, but that didn't seem to help. Suggestions?
