Hello, I am having trouble with the cruise control on my 2001 V40. The problem seems to be intermittent. When it works, it randomly turns off and never comes back until the next restart - or even at all.

 

EXACT same problem I've had for 4 years ('02 V40). After 3 of the bull****, "cannot duplicate problem" from Volvo, I gave up. They changes the brake switch and it's not a vacuum leak.

I think I read somewhere once that when certain OBD routines are running, it can shut it off.

I love to hear anyone's thoughts.
