Hi,

I recently bought my first Volvo, it is V40 2.0T Automatic and for now I think that I made a good choice. However, there are some things that are bothering me that I can not resolve.

First one is the Cruise control option, that seams like not functioning. I am able to turn it on and to see the indicator light on the control table, but when trying to set the desired speed, nothing happens. I already tried to push the brake pedal up when testing it, as I read it somewhere, but no luck, also I read that it could be the issue of some sensor or switch malfunction, on the brake, indicating to Cruise Control that the brake is pressed all the time, but I was not able to locate it. I would appreciate If someone could advise me or share its own experience, on how to solve this.

The other one is related to the Audio system.
In the user manual that came with the car (unfortunately on Portuguese), there is a part on how to charge the CD's in the charger, which I was not able to do, as I could not reach to the CD Charger option, through the navigation.
The radio itself has a written label 1-20 CD on it, so I assumed that the CD Charger is implemented, however I also read somewhere that it is an optional equipment on this model.
I would also appreciate If someone could advise me on this issue, how can I determine if CD Charger is implemented or not, where it is located, and what could be the problem with charging it.

That said, keep in mind most of the issues for the V40 also apply to the S40 so do some research there as well.
