I Volvo Forum Folks,

My 2004 V40 will not idle.
The throttle is sluggish when driving and the engine gently dies when slowing down to stop or at idle.
Code P0102 and P0107 are pulling on my scanner and call for MAP and MAF sensor low signal.
Back probed to check signal and it seems to be in spec.
Replaced both sensors, no improvement.
Cleaned IAC and throttle body, no improvement.

I am about to take it into the shop because I don't know what I can do at home next.
Any ideas about what I can check/do before taking it in to a shop I trust?

 

That 4 cyl engine has an electric valve that controls the idle speed. I have replaced many that went bad and made the cars stall.

Here's what they look like - have no idea if that's a reasonable price.

have the same issue changed maf idal control valve cleaned injectors and checked evap system cant sort the issue any sugestions ?
