Can't seem to find any information online about replacing the thermostat, does anyone have any info on it and even a how to?

Hey mate cheers for the info can't seem to locate it still.

Is it for this model?

 

Sory the only t4 listed is a 5 cylinder - for your b4164t 4 cylinder - here's some pics, remove the alternator first to get to it then a valve (#10), three hoses, and 4 bolts according to VIDA.

 

Ive managed to get the alternator off, hopefully tongith will get the thermostat off, any chance you have a nice diagram for putting the alternator back on, I couldn't see the tension thing for the belt anywhere
