Default Airbag Warning Light......

this came on today after I'd refuelled the car and stayed on permanently. I've tried switching the engine off and restarting but no joy it's still on. After one start up it flickered for a while as if about to extinguish, then on movement of the steering wheel came on permanently again. This kind of suggests to me that it could just be a connection problem. It loks like I may have to take it into a main dealer as airbags and warnings are usually specialist stuff. Does anyone have any suggestions that will save me the impending astronomical bill this will entail?

It is best to have someone that knows Air bags look at it.

It could be a bad Contact reel in the steering column.
