Default broken pull pocket

I have two broken door pull pockets on my 2001 v40. These are black plastic (maybe ABS plastic) and the mounting screw bracket has failed. Is it possible to glue this back together? And, if so what kind of glue works best? I'm sure new pull pockets can be dealer ordered for $$$, but I'm trying to be thrifty.

Not sure if glue would be strong enough to hold it.

Three of mine have done this. I got a longer screw (from my shop- but a good hardware store- read"not big box"- should have them) and used a small washer that is beveled in the middle, but not really countersunk as it is curved not edged at the bends that came from my ACE Hardware. This has held them in, you only see them if you look donw in there and is way cheaper than buying a new one or a used one which will break too. Never tried glue- but my fourth door handle cup has broken so I may try gorilla glue.
