I have a 2002 V40 1.9L turbo and would like to add a cold intake kit. Problem is, I've searched and searched and can't seem to find one for my specific model and year. Can anyone help me here?


Also, interested in performance exhaust.

easy route is to use a K&N filter (I got mine from IPDUSA.COM )

I saw this free flow intake on Euro Sports Tuning's site:

BSR Tuning also offers a free flow air intake for the Gen 1s, you may need to ask them if the part shown for the "T4" and T 2.0 will fit a 1.9T.

Just installed mind yesterday. Helps to have an extra engine mount bolt to install bracket over the long stud, otherwise you have to remove existing, put bracket then re-torque your bolt.

 

Thanks for the info. I was going to get the 57i Kit from K&N my but was given a warning that it would not fit my specific model (v40, 1.9, 2002) and suggested only the K&N OEM replacement type filter. I am going to try the Eurosport intake and while I am at it I see that they also sell a performance exhaust. Plus they sell a cool, black grill replacement.

It's too bad there isn't more mod stuff available for these cars. They are quite sporty and fun to drive!

 

So, i ended up getting a cold air intake, cat back exhust, sway bar and some new shocks and springs from eurosport. Thanks fir the help! Also found a place that does an ecu upgrade for the engine.
