How much engine oil will my 2001 require when I change the oil?

I searched both here and elsewhere and can't seem to find an exact number!

There's two figures:

Capacity (incl. filter): 5.7 US qts (5.4 liters).
Capacity (excl. filter): 5.3 US qts (5.0 liters)

It is also listed in the owners manual which can be found on volvocars.us
If this is your first time changing the oil on this car, as always, be careful not to overfill.[/b]
