Default fuel filter and spark plug gapping?

i know these questions have most likely been asked a lot but i did do some searching and could not find what i wanted.

i need to know where the fuel filter is located on my moms 2002 v40 so i can change it.
i also need to know the correct spark plug gap so i can put some new plugs in.
is there a general maintenance write up/thread some where that i did not find?
thanks so much guys!

It looks like you already have most of the answer.

The fuel filter is under a plastic panel on the drivers side, just in front of the fuel tank. The plastic clips are kind of a pain, just pry the middle out carefully. Also pay attention to the filter direction, the lines can be misleading. mine was in backwards, thanks volvo tec.....

the plug gap is .030.

what do you mean by fuel filter direction? Thanks. I'm not so good at these kind of car technical stuff.

Just that there is a "in" and "out" side on the filter. you want the "in" line connected to the tank side, and the "out" to the motor side. If you can't tell just put in the same way as the old. 98 percent of the time its right.

I checked my flow direction by zip tieing rubber gloves around the lines and turning the key to on for a second or two. the glove with fuel was the tank side.
