Would anyone know a good source for crossbars for the roof rack? Good used or new. I can not seem to find any in my searches....just curious if any out there havre some for sale or a retail source.

Matt- just saw your question as I have been away running my business and just driving my V instead of working on it! I have a rack that is made for the V40 that came form Thule racks. Thule makes racks that will fit as does Yakima and Saris. The Saris are more elegant and swoopy but cost a lot even used. Yakima and Thule are pretty similar but they do not interchange. You can find them on craigslist or ebay all day long used. Just go to either manufacturer website and use the utility to find the right rack and part nubmers for your car, then write them down and start searching. I got my rack from Ebay for about $40 shipped, then bought a couple of bike trays and mounts from craigslist for the same amount with locks. SO for $80 I have about $350 worth of Thule rack on my car! The parts I got were older models no longer carried but many of the newer parts can beinterchanged.
