I just bought a '98 V70 AWD and took the roof racks off for easier snow removal (wouldn't use them anyway). Dealer wants $173 a side for the full length roof moldings.

Is there somewhere else to get these !!??

I have been searching the web for days and haven't even found any "generic" roof moldings of any kind. It is a basic "T" molding. I have all the clips. It is my sons car, so I am not THAT picky about it. I would even silicone a generic molding on there if need be.

Anyone? I Googled the PN from the dealer and it looks like the same trim as used in the 850s. Can anyone confirm this?

You can use the 850 ones.... If you have a salvage yard near you, check there or go on Craigslist and see if anyone is parting out a wagon.... You can find them fairly cheap, but Shipping is where the expense adds to the price..

 

Then I might be interested in your moldings. I was going to put the rails and crossbars on eBay. We could probably work something out. Get back to me and let me know if you get your V70.
