I am the proud owner of a year 2000, 1.8, 4-speed Auto. The car is in great shape except for one thing - the auto gearbox PNP sensor. Its been playing up intermitently for some time, but has steadily got worse to the point that it is now triggering the flashing yellow arrow and associated limp mode just sbout every time I use the car. I can clear it after a serious to and frowing of the selector, but the issue just comes back. I want to replace it, but after an extensive search, I just haven't found anyone who has one for sale. I don't want to remove it and attempt a strip - if I total it, i fear I will have to say goodbye to the car. The part number is 30865937. HELP please!
