My wife has managed to misplace both switchblade keys for her 2004 v40 - she is using the valet key now - the local dealer wants 491 a key includes programming etc - Im no millionaire so that is not going to happen - I bought 2 used keys off ebay 29 dollars each and they say they cannot reprogram them - is that true? myswedishparts.com sells keys for 166.05 each and will be cut to our car will still need to goto the dealer to get them programmed but now I worried that his will not work either!!! What should I do?

 

Did you get the codes for the remote portion? Did they get the key part of it programmed?
