I wanted to check my oil level in my volvo v40 (2017) i followed a tutorial and on the page where it should show oil level it just says oil level: low and there is no level indicator in the bar display thing, (attached image) I have not recieved any warnings or errors from the car nor has it told me to refill the oil, I just wanted to check it.

Is this normal or is something wrong, any advice is apreciated.

 

just put about 100ml into the car, as it was saying low and then drove for arround 20miles and now it is reading fine, with oil level: ok and the bar on the max mark, i don't know if it was a glitch or if I wasn't measuring it right
