As the title says this is my first Volvo. Gotta say I'm enjoying it. I've racked up about 1500 miles. My only complaint thus far is that I have hit the tow loop under the front bumper several times on the ground. This is on driveways I have never bottomed out before on in my lowered 318is BMW.
I was already planning on some H&R springs that should drop the car around 1.25". What happens then? will I be leaving a grind mark in the pavement everywhere I drive? or will the stiffer springs reduce this problem?

While I've got your attention anybody have experience with the H&R's and stock struts? Is it a reasonable combination of road feel and ride quality? I'm looking for a little more spirit in the ride.
