No power to radio from accessory switch (2001 V40)
Hello. I have a 2001 V40 1.9T. The stock radio died on this car after I got it, or so I thought. I tried putting in an aftermarket Pioneer unit and found it to not be working either.
Using my multimeter, I checked the car-side connectors and found that the pin that gets the accessory switch-on signal (a brown wire with white stripe) was getting no voltage when the ignition key was turned to the accessory position. Finding the other end of the wire has been difficult, where does it terminate? I checked all the fuses, they're fine. Is there a radio-specific relay that needs to be replaced?
There are no issues with door locks, security system, etc. any other accessories. The blower motor is... erratic. Not sure if it's a related problem.
