i am running a 2004 v40 Volvo, it was running a HU-615, when that got faulty i replaced it with another third party model. it works fine but sticks out like a sore thumb. I am going to change it back but i am having issues, namely, what fits.

I am considering another HU-615, but i am also considering a HU-1205. The newer models appeal to me in that they have additional features and they will presumably not die as quickly.

The backsides of the two models look much the same and the exterior dimensions look similar as well. But i don't wish to put hundred of dollars on a model that wont fit. Illumination would be appreciated.
