Has anyone fitted 'Speed Bleed Nipples' to their V40 or to any other Volvo model brake calipers to simplify the bleeding of the brakes following maintenance?
I am thinking of fitting these if I can get them here in NZ at a realistic cost.
Alternative is to source from USA. Speed Bleeder Bleeding Brakes Bleeding Motorcycle Brakes Automotive Bleeder Screw Brake Bleeder @ $7.00 each US.

Does any one know the correct size/specifications of the normal standard nipples for a 2002 V40.

A 8mm ring spanner loosens mine but as they supply to suit numerous different threads and overall lengths, I am rather unsure from the selection chart on their site.
Apparently the hex nuts themselves of the speed bleeders are still in SAE or Imp only.
They have omitted Volvo's from their list of makes. Surprising as Volvo so popular and quite commonplace in USA. Less so here in NZ but improving.

Any comments / experiences welcome.
