V40 no start, relay engine management cut after fee seconds
I have a problem Whit a Volvo v40 2001, 1.9 turbo.
The car just stop and won't start. It's crank thought.
I checked under the hood and find the accessories belt broken and tangled on the timing belt, I take it out and clean it removing all the parts of the accessories belt, I also replace the timing belt, the tensioner and the pulley but still won't start.
I checked it again and I found that the Engine management system relay, is cutted by the computer after a few seconds the key is inserted and moved to the run position.
i scanned the computer and it show the error mil light fault Po650. Does someone have an idea what should I check??? Thx in advance.

did you check compression after redoing the timing belt? The P0650 is a generic code saying your check engine light's bulb is out. It could be, or its pointing to some other wiring/connector issue from the ECU. Not sure if its related to your no start as it could have been there prior. Given the belt tore, I'd be loocking around for other potential wire harness damage. Next, have you checked for fuel pressure and spark?

I have no spark or gas presure because they are out by the the relay engine management system relay 2/14, it's cut all power to the coils and fuel pump.

The power is cut out on the coils and fuel pump by the relay 2/14( engine management system)
So no spark and no gas presure after a couple seconds the key is inserted and move it to run position.

I did find that the relay 2/14, engine management system relay, which provides power to the coils and fuel pump relay, is being open, the computer open the ground connection of this relay after a few second the key is moved to the run position, so I can crank the car but it won't start, no fuel and no spark. Does anyone can have a clue about what should I check I don't know the logic inside the computer to know what is causing the open ground by the computer on this relay, 2/14.
