Can anybody Help?.
2000 V40 SE. When driving at any speed the engine revs will just suddenly drop and then recover,the engine managment light thinks it a indicator, on for a few days and then switchs off, the emisons fail the MOT tse and finally eats Headlamps and tail lamps.
Volvo Dealer Recomendations after resetting EM light was to replace the Lamba sensor, its had two in two years. Any ideas !

 

Do you know what codes the dealer pulled? If so post them for me.

 

I've finally got the code EFI001 Suspect oxygen sensor fault.Any ideas

 

Im not sure which market you are in.In the Us they Have an updated O2 sensor harness that going into the o2 sensor.You might need that harness installed.

 

I'm in the uk & its a uk car

 

Ask your local dealer and see if they had it there as well.They were installing the harness due to causing the light to come on sometimes when there was no fault.
