For some reason I have experienced water in the spare tire wheel well. I've looked with a flash light, can't see any drainage issues, and the carpet isn't wet. Rear hatch seal is good. Were is it coming from is a mystery. Help...

If you have a garage or somewhere totally dark. Remove All the floor carpet, spare tire, everything you can and turn on work light and put it in the closed trunk. Crawel around and look for the light. Look for missing drain plugs in the floor.

sorry to drag up an old thread i'm having the same problem with my 98 v40

does anyone know where the water is gettiing in

 

drill a 3/16"-1/4" hole in the lowest point there. supposed to be some 'plugs' in there somewhere. mine had the same problem.
