Dear Volvo community

After my dad and sister, also i am about to buy a Volvo. For me it’s probably gonna be a V40 T3 2017 and have some open questions. Any inputs are highly appreciated.

1. What is actually the difference between the 2017 and 2019 series?
2. Is it possible to pack a roof tent on top of the car?
3. Regarding sensors: Are there different packages you can upgrade the car? Like front sensors, rear camera or park assistant?
