Water ingress
Hello!, I stumbled across your forums whilst researching a problem with my v40.
I purchased my 2017 V40 R Design in November, and so far I'm really happy with it, however. Following a few weeks of heavy rain and snow I have discovered that the rear seat cushions ( not the seat backs), the rear passenger footwells and mainly the boot floor are absolutely dripping wet.
the doors appear dry to the touch as does the parcel shelf and the roof lining.
The car has done very little travel since purchase due to lockdown and has been parked on our drive on a very slight nose down incline throughout the bad weather.
I'm at a loss to figure out where the water is coming in so as to affect these areas.
I have read it may be a bad seal on the sharkfin roof ariel, but as far as I can tell the roof is dry??
sorry for the ramble, but I'm at a bit of a loss.
Thanks.
